After the End of the World Coretet

After the End of the World Coretet brings decades of San Francisco creative music to Bird & Beckett — founded in 1989 by bassist and composer Bill Noertker alongside reedist Annelise Zamula and drummer Dave Mihaly, this experimental jazz ensemble draws on a vast range of influences from Ellington and Mingus to free jazz and contemporary improvisation. Joined by Jon Birdsong on trumpet, expect music that is adventurous, compositionally rich, and deeply rooted in the spirit of the city’s most daring musical traditions.
