PLEASE NOTE- YOU MUST REGISTER HERE TO APPLY TO JOIN. REGISTERING ON THIS PAGE WILL NOT GRANT YOU ACCESS TO THE EVENT The data universe is expanding. You've been recruited. It's time to build. Step into the role of a data engineer at AstroTrips, a fictional interplanetary travel company, and build an AI-powered pipeline to process customer review using LLM analysis, intelligent routing, vector embeddings, and an AI agent that drafts responses, all with human-in-the-loop approval. Workshop Details • Focus: AI and LLM orchestration patterns • Level: Intermediate • Prerequisites: Basic Python knowledge, familiarity with Airflow concepts helpful but not required • Environment: Browser-based (Astro IDE), no local setup or Docker required Mission Breakdown We'll kick off with an introduction to AstroTrips, Airflow as a unified control plane for data and AI, and the decorator-based approach to LLM orchestration. Hands-on Workshop Stages: • Setup: Connect to the Astro IDE, start your Airflow environment, and explore the Support Portal plugin. • Analyze reviews: Build an LLM pipeline that classifies and summarizes customer reviews, including image analysis for reviews with attachments. • Route reviews: Use AI-powered branching to assign reviews to the right team, with dynamic task mapping over the full review queue. • Embed reviews: Generate vector embeddings and store them for similarity search, with asset-triggered scheduling. • Respond to reviews: Build an agent with database tools that drafts customer responses, then pause for human approval before persisting the result. Mission Accomplished After the workshop, stick around for drinks and snacks on our post-mission networking reception.
