Aki Kumar and the Arrows

Harmonica player and vocalist Aki Kumar teams up with The Arrows trio for a live set at Specs’ Twelve Adler Museum Cafe in North Beach. Mumbai-born and South Bay–based, Kumar is widely known for pioneering his signature Bollywood blues style alongside mastery of traditional amplified Chicago harp in the lineage of Little Walter. For this performance, he joins The Arrows—featuring guitarist Kelyn Crapp, bassist Bill MacBeath, and drummer Ricky Wayne Garrett—delivering a dynamic mix of classic and original blues, rhythm and blues, and soul drawn from the American songbook.
