Your RSVP is appreciated so we get a sense of how many people to expect. Event Details Have you heard the one about the carved stone sculpture recently unearthed in North Beach ? The stickiest story out of San Francisco in years ; a couple digging in their vegetable garden have hit the metaphoric mother lode in their own backyard ! Come see the piece at American Messenger...and give us your perspective on this stone-cold angel whose timeless visage pierces even the toughest staredown. Is she a muse of the late bohemian sculptor, Ralph Stackpole... or perhaps a piece made by one of his students? How and why was she buried at their Francisco Street home across from the SF Art Institute ? Help us get to the bottom of this legendary find. The carving will hold court in the gallery space through the end of October along with amazing new work by some of San Francisco's finest living artists. Featuring new work by Timothy Armstrong, Dylan Clendenin, Judy Gittelsohn, Michael Reed Sr, Colleen Quen, Oliver Velvet and others. House Salad is a group show of artistic colleagues and folks whose work I have grown to love over the past few years. My passion is finding great Art and presenting it in public and I thrive on sharing this experience with others. Expect dazzlement and sparkliness.... radiant color and solidity... ancient sounds and brand new images. Live music by Marc Cappelle on harpsichord and clavichord. See the usual cast of characters and meet new people you've never seen before but who look vaguely familiar . What connects all of us is that we all love analog Art and we all dig very hard to find the best of it. Some things can't be created by clankers... and the rooms will be chocked full of the ineffable stuff that makes our world go around... and it ain't aye eye, baby ! Delivering Visual Messages is what we do at American Messenger. Come raise a glass with us and see what all the hullabaloo is about ! as ever, Charles Linder American Messenger 1583 Folsom Street in SoMa RSVP:  415-699-8418 location provided by event source: "1583 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA" ―――――――――― SF Stuff To Do
