Hosted by SF Crosstown Trails. A 3.3-mile, 2.5-hour one-way stairway walk through Bernal Heights. The route starts at Precita Park, heads to the summit of Bernal Hill, stops at a lesser-known open space and the Bernal Boulder, passes the Esmeralda slides, takes a dirt path toward Holly Park, and visits the Tompkins mosaic stairs and Jarboe zig-zag stairs before ending at Barebottle for optional post-hike libations and snacks. The route includes 800 feet of elevation.
