An evening at the frontier of brain care, co-hosted by Robeauté and Kindred Ventures, alongside neurosurgeons and innovators from Intuitive, Precision NeuroMed, UCSF, Sophont, Google Cloud, BRILL Neurotech and Neurotech Futures. "Progress in brain care rarely happens inside a single discipline." That conviction led Robeauté to found the Brain Gardeners’ Club in Paris in 2024, in collaboration with AP-HP, the Paris University Hospital group. It has since grown into a close-knit global community of neurosurgeons, clinicians, scientists, founders and investors working at the frontier of brain care. The Gardeners gather in curated, salon-style settings, taking inspiration from Parisian café culture, where an eclectic mix of people share a table and talk candidly about what’s next. Past salons have welcomed neurosurgeons from Memorial Sloan Kettering, UCSF and Charité, alongside leaders from Neuralink, Brainlab, Owkin and Moon Surgical and many others. Theme This edition of Brain Gardeners’ Club explores how new forms of data and access can reshape what we know about the brain, and what clinicians can meaningfully do with it. There is currently a gap between the complexity of neurological disease and the required precision of care. Data’s value lies in its actionable therapeutic potential: helping clinicians understand where to go, what to sample, what to preserve, what to treat, and how to monitor disease over time. The evening We're bringing together builders and leaders at the forefront of neurotech, pharma and AI for an evening of candid conversation on the questions shaping the future of the brain: how new technologies reach patients, how data and AI change what’s possible, and what it takes to turn scientific progress into lasting impact. 🎸 The programme opens with small-group conversations, led by co-hosts Dr Sandeep Kunwar (UCSF and Precision NeuroMed), Paul Scotti (Sophont), Katherine Hecht (Google Cloud), Naveen Rao (Neurotech Futures), Dr Mehmet Günal (BRILL Neurotech) and Dr Sami Barrit (UC Berkeley and UCSF). 🔥 The discussions will be followed by a closing fireside with Christopher Carlson, Executive Vice President of Research, Corporate Development and Intuitive Ventures at Intuitive and Bertrand Duplat, moderated by Kanyi Maqubela from Kindred Ventures. 📌 Schedule 5:00pm Guest arrivals 5:30pm Opening remarks and format overview 5:45pm Session 1: three concurrent small-group discussions 6:10pm Break and transition 6:15pm Session 2: three concurrent small-group discussions 6:40pm Break and transition 6:45pm Fireside chat 7:15pm Networking 9:00pm Close What is an (un)conference?
