Chris Cobb brings hard-driving, guitar-led Bay Area blues to The Saloon, where he has performed since roughly 1985. A fixture of the 1980s blues revival, Cobb’s sound pulls from Texas blues, blues-rock, boogie, and soul, with touchstones including the Fabulous Thunderbirds, ZZ Top, the Allman Brothers, and Stevie Ray Vaughan; his current Saloon lineup includes Jesse Cobb on guitar and vocals, Kevin Zuffi on keyboards, Scot Larsen on bass, and Robi Bean on drums.
