Drawing inspiration from ambient music pioneers Brian Eno and Robert Fripp, the early avant-garde space psychedelia of Pink Floyd, the progressive electronic rock of Tu-Ner, the adventurous electric hybrid experimentations of early seventies Miles Davis, Chris Trinidad's Chroma Tonic blends these explorations with the influences of the members of the group.  Naima Shalhoub provides vocal and synthesizer textures, Alex Heigl plays ambient and looped guitars, Cy Thompson brings an array of Afro-Caribbean percussive elements, Scott Oshiro performs on flute and programs the quantum (!!) electronic improvised live interactions, while Chris Trinidad holds down the foundation on bass guitar and synth bass.
