Luma discover page Event Link The Heath Clay Studio presents Circle, Triangle, Rectangle, a new show by Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang. Celebrate the show opening with us on September 17! Tung will be in conversation with Kelsey Keith, Creative Director at MillerKnoll, about this collection and the future of craft. Oriented around a family of simple geometric forms, Circle, Triangle, Rectangle reflects Tung's ongoing exploration of the relationship between art, craft, and design using Heath's clay and glazes. In keeping with the exploratory spirit of the new show, form and scale vary widely from piece to piece. You’ll find smaller sculptures, functional containers, and a collection of larger works (including two tall vases that pay homage to our San Francisco factory’s chimneys). The variety is deliberate, demonstrating that even the simplest shapes can lead to surprising results. Circle, Triangle, Rectangle opens in the Heath San Francisco gallery space beginning at 10am on September 16 for viewing and purchase, in-person only. location provided by event source: "Heath Ceramics, 2900 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA" ―――――――――― SF Stuff To Do
