Clairdee brings sophistication, warmth, and a velvety voice to Keys Jazz Bistro — a celebrated vocalist whose heartfelt interpretations span the standard repertoire, gospel, and R&B with equal grace and authenticity. As the great Nancy Wilson said of her: “In the tradition of all great vocalists, Clairdee infuses each song with her own unique style while always remaining true to the song itself.” A veteran of Dizzy’s Club in New York City, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Edinburgh Jazz Festival, she has collaborated with Dick Hyman, Cyrus Chestnut, David Sanborn, Houston Person, Russell Malone, and Nancy Wilson, among many others. Joining her tonight are music director and pianist Ken French, drummer Jason Lewis, bassist Ron Belcher, and guitarist Eric Swinderman.
