Daniel Harris III

Daniel Harris III at Black Cat brings the Stockton-raised trumpeter, composer, and bandleader back to San Francisco for a two-show night of bold, soulful jazz built on hard-hitting original compositions and warm melodic storytelling. Harris has performed with Terrace Martin, Stevie Wonder, Jahari Stampley, and Isaiah Collier and the Chosen Few, with appearances at Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center, and his sound moves through R&B, funk, neo-soul, and hip-hop, drawing on his debut album “Ubuntu”. He’s joined by pianist Elder Gindroz, bassist Ryan Jackson-Embola, and drummer Victor Cyrus Franklin III.
