Dave Easley Trio

Dave Easley at Waystone showcases the Hawaii-born, New Orleans–based pedal-steel guitarist whose lyrical phrasing, harmonic imagination, and virtuosity make him a singular voice in contemporary jazz. His trio moves fluidly through jazz, blues, rock, and Americana, bringing an uncommon instrument into an intimate improvisational setting; his repertoire includes deeply expressive takes on standards and jazz classics such as “Lonely Woman,” “Stardust,” and “Lush Life.”
