Dermot Kennedy

Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy and his poetic vision has proved a huge success both in his home territories and stateside. The talented musician easily conjures up lyrical explorations of life and death, love and loss, mashing the heady indie arrangements with production elements reminiscent of modern hip hop. He's a beautiful juxtaposition that's equal parts Bon Iver-esque and Drake, and his music is utterly addictive whether you're singing along to the chorus at a concert or alone in the car.
