Dr. Cho & the Handsome Boys

Dr. Cho & The Handsome Boys at Boom Boom Room is a San Francisco classic rock band playing covers from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, here for the third annual Dr. Cho Birthday Show and their first time on the venue’s stage. Vocalist and songwriter Dr. Cho draws on Dionne Warwick, Karen Carpenter and Stevie Wonder; she’s joined by guitarist Lewis Martin, who spent a decade playing nightly gigs in the Dominican Republic before moving to San Francisco, Berklee-trained drummer Daniele Oriti, and Dan Carwin on bass.
