Luma discover page Event Link We signed the lease on this corner in 2017. After nine years in the making, the day has finally come - and we would like you there with us. On Thursday, 8 October at 7:33 p.m., we light the exterior sign as Lillie Coit's for the very first time. 7:33 for 1933, the year Coit Tower was dedicated to the citizens of San Francisco, four blocks up the hill - ninety-three years ago to the day. Alongside our friend Mark Schachern, the Washbag's general manager, we will flip the switch on a sign built out of the original copper bar top of the Washington Square Bar & Grill. Same copper, same bar, back up over the door where it belongs. Petite Lil's was supposed to be a soft opening. It ran 1,264 days. Tonight we stop calling it that. Nine years of engineers, permits, concrete and patience, and the whole thing comes down to a switch and about four seconds. Welcome splashes galore. Cash bar. We will spill out into the street. North Beach at its best. Come festive and come early - we expect a crowd, and we want you close for the moment it happens. Then come inside and eat something. The details: Doors at 4P Sign at 7:33P (don't be late) Kitchen till 1A (or later) Close at 2A 1707 Powell Street, North Beach Never early, sometimes later. We'll have a wonderful time, Nick Floulis Proprietor location provided by event source: "Lillie Coit's, 1707 Powell St, San Francisco, CA 94133, USA" ―――――――――― SF Stuff To Do
