G Riders

The G-Riders perform at the Saloon. This San Francisco-based ensemble is composed of veteran musicians from the Bay Area blues and gospel-soul communities. Takezo (Guitar/Vocals): Leads the group with a focus on traditional blues and soulful vocal delivery. Kit Roscoe (Guitar): Provides additional guitar work, contributing to the band’s layered blues sound. Dave Mehrwine (Keyboard): Handles the keys, grounding the group’s arrangements with classic blues textures. Steve Hazlewood (Bass): A San Francisco native with nearly 50 years of professional experience, Hazlewood has previously performed with artists such as Elvin Bishop and Michael Osborn. Randy Hayes (Drums): A seasoned drummer and North Beach regular who has toured extensively and worked with notable blues figures like Tommy Castro and Coco Montoya.
