Graphic Arts Workshop: Basic Stone Lithography

In this 4-day class, students will learn the basics of stone lithography from preparing, drawing, and processing of the stone through the printing of the edition and documentation. We will focus on the basics but will touch on more advanced techniques with an eye toward a better understanding of this unique medium and a view toward further explorations. October 17 & 18, 24 & 25, 10am – 4pm Location: Graphic Arts Workshop, 565 3rd St #305, San Francisco, CA 94107 Fee: $600 for the four-day workshop plus a materials fee of $30. Students will be given a materials list and a list of suppliers and will be expected to purchase most of their own supplies. Other materials will be provided by the instructor at his cost.
