Hôtel Biron Art Night: Sea Creatures + Wine Reception (SF)

Sojourn In Wonderland by Nicole Hanusek @nicolehanusekart We are honored and very excited to have #local artist @nicolehanusekart debut her solo show here. I met Nicole at the Super Fine Art Fair last year. Her works of sea creatures, ocean-inspired abstracts, and octopuses, umm.. octopi (I think that’s right) are what grabbed my attention. I can’t wait for another beautiful abstract exhibit and @nicolehanusekart will definitely put on a show! There will be a raffle @ 8:00pm which includes a round of chambongs, wine, art from the artist, etc. All money from our raffle will go to our artist! Below is a bio of our featuring artist and info on their featured work: Nicole went to art school, where she majored in Illustration, although her career has been in web design. She started my own company in 2008. Nicole never gave up on art and recently decided that it needs to take priority in her life. Nicole finally found her style and inspiration, creating colorful sea creatures, animals, and nature-inspired abstract paintings. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two dogs. Nicole wants you to feel something when you look at her work. Not something complicated, just that little spark in your chest like when you see something extraordinary. That moment when the light is just right, and the world goes quiet for a second. That’s what Nicole creates. Over and over, in every piece, whether it’s a creature looking back at you from deep water or an abstract that pulls you in before you’ve figured out why. The world is heavy most of the time and Nicole thinks beauty helps. A painting that makes you stop and smile, that’s the whole reason she paints.
