Hector Lugo Jazz/Latin Trio

The Hector Lugo Jazz/Latin Trio brings deep Caribbean roots and jazz sophistication to Keys Jazz Bistro. Performing under their Trio Caribe project, the ensemble features master Puerto Rican percussionist and vocalist Héctor Lugo alongside Julio de la Cruz on piano and Sam Bevan on acoustic bass. The trio explores an expansive repertoire ranging from tight, polyrhythmic Afro-Caribbean grooves and swing standards to tender romantic boleros and hidden gems from the Caribbean songbook. Powered by Lugo’s soulful vocals and dynamic hand percussion, their sound bridges fiery improvisation with elegant, intimate lyricism. Two Shows: 5pm and 7pm
