SF Art Galleries - Openings & Events Event source calendar Event Link: see venue calendar above ^^ Traditional sketches, reimagined through lenticular prints. Meet Ruoyun Dai ( @whats_inside_of_my_brain ), one of three artists featured in “The Illusion of Stillness” at Hotel Emblem. Ruoyun Dai is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in New York and San Francisco who blends traditional sketches with augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and spatial technology. Through both her independent practice and projects developed with 2rt, Dai continues to build a distinctive visual language that bridges digital and physical realms, inviting viewers into spaces where memory, illusion, and identity converge. See her work in person on October 1st, when Hotel Emblem partners with @2rt.studio and @segd_sanfrancisco for a special edition of SF First Thursdays Art Walk. Curated by Melis Gullu. Start with the docent-led walk at 5:30pm, settle in for the artist talk at 6:30pm, and let DJ Zephyr set the mood for the rest of the night. 📆 October 1st 📍 @hotelemblem 🎨 Art Walk: 5:00pm to 9:00pm 🍸 Happy Hour at Obscenity Bar: 4:20pm to 6:00pm 🎟️ Free admission, all welcome.
