In Quiet

Opening reception for In Quiet, photographs by Harry Williams Jr., with DJ, wine and drinks at Little Raven Gallery. In Quiet is a photographic series by Harry Williams Jr., created over two years inside the deteriorating bathroom of a once-loved San Francisco home. The house had been taken by the bank, occupied by squatters, cleared out and eventually demolished. More than forty people entered this same room—athletes, dancers, artists, activists, lovers and people carrying grief. Each person used the space differently: to be still, to perform, to protest, to display strength, to express love or to reveal something private. The room became a place where people could take up space and be fully present—not as roles imposed upon them, but as themselves. Join us for the opening reception with DJ, wine and drinks.
