June Cavlan at the Black Cat brings New York–based contemporary jazz vocalist and arranger June Cavlan into one of San Francisco’s most intimate jazz rooms, fronting Caelan Cardello on piano, Eytan Schillinger-Hyman on bass, and James Gallagher on drums. Bridging classic jazz sensibility with modern storytelling, Cavlan draws on her work as a solo artist, bandleader of the June Cavlan Quartet, and member of the vocal harmony trio The Sunhouse Singers to shape a set of lyrical, harmony‑rich originals and standards tailored to the Black Cat’s close‑up, listening‑focused atmosphere.
