Late Night Set: Gavin Halloran

Late night set at the Dawn Club: Gavin Halloran and his band. Gavin Halloran is a Saxophonist born and raised in the East Bay. Halloran’s inspiration comes from the tenormen of old growing up to the sounds of Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster and Don Byas. Halloran has worked across the scene now for over a decade with the Bay Area’s very best in Straight Ahead. Notable performances include the Fillmore Jazz Festival, Napa Blue Note, CSM Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Fest, Keys Jazz Bistro, Mr. Tipples Recording Studio, Club Deluxe, Biscuits & Blues, Bird & Beckett, Geelou, Sweetwater Music Hall, Mama Kins, Five Points and many more Bay Area Gems. Halloran’s Band can be heard performing nightly at John’s Grill in the Heart of the San Fransisco. Halloran has recently released his single “Monk’s Shop.” Additional music including “Asiatic Rays,” and EP “Hallucinations” are available for streaming on all digital Platforms.
