Le Jazz Hot Quartet

Le Jazz Hot Quartet at Local Edition brings the acoustic swing of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli’s pioneering Hot Club de France to San Francisco. The local-performing incarnation of the Hot Club of San Francisco, the group pairs inventive arrangements of classic tunes with original compositions by bandleader and lead guitarist Paul “Pazzo” Mehling. Its two guitars, violin, and upright bass create a string-driven sound rooted in 1930s Parisian jazz. Mehling is joined by Isabelle Fontaine on rhythm guitar and vocals, Evan “Zeppo” Price on violin, and Dexter “DeWi” Williams on string bass.
