Live Band Karaoke with Mox & TAP-SF

Mox Event Space (Mission 13th St) Event source calendar Event Link: see venue calendar above ^^ Join Mox and the Taiwanese-American Professionals of SF for a novel twist on the beloved Taiwanese pastime of karaoke—karaoke with a live band! We'll provide a curated experience with an emcee, core band, and curated list of bangers. Our emcee, Dean, will usher us through song order and band lineup, and all you need to bring is (1) your voice and (2) the cost of admission—snack/drinks to share with the group (ideally Taiwanese ones)! Folks who bring Taiwanese snacks/drinks to share before 8:45 p.m. will qualify for a special raffle (details below). Est. attendance: up to 100 people throughout the event. Peak (i.e. in the room at a time) might be 70 people. These are popular events! We plan to promote with an aim of 70 people in the room at a time. We can cap attendance at a lower number if needed. REQUESTED ROOM: - 1st floor (ideally, if construction is complete...) - 4th floor - Anywhere else with a projector, PA speakers, and room for dancing and a full band with drums AV NEEDS: - Projector - TV on wheels - PA speakers Everything else can/will be provided by the event organizers and band members.
