Midnight Mass

Dearest Members of the Congregation, We freaky Filipinos in San Francisco's South of Market district summon all worshippers 21 and older to rejuvenate our souls in music, dance and performance on Saturday, October 17th, beginning at 9pm. We will gather at the historic intersection of the Leather and Filipino cultural districts, where we have built a sanctum to our creative passions, the location of which will be revealed in due time. This sanctum, a font for creativity and life, is a rare sight in this New Babylon that has been built around it. The 17th will be a celebration of such a space, of its survival as rent prices soar and the arts and community diminish, and, with your help, of its continuance. Tithes will be requested on a sliding scale, the payment of which will gain you entrance to our beloved sanctum. Please wear your Sunday best - your leather, your lace, your jusi and silk. Of course, fellow beloved members of the faith can expect to receive at the door, including Priests, Nuns, Monks, and those good Catholic girls who arrive in uniform. In the interest of keeping this space as safe as possible: - While this is a place for softcore play, we ask that you reach the crescendo of your worship beyond our walls, and as always, practicing consent! We are requiring all congregants to bring evidence of two negative covid tests with them. Photos will be accepted. Music, graciously provided by the DJ's joining us, will be playing all night long. We have invited our finest artisans to offer you their wares: their engravings, relics, and fetishes. At midnight, a mass will be gathered to welcome the coming of the Sabbath. There will be hymnals, prayer, a reading, a sermon, and the taking of the Holey Sacrament. Elsewhere in our monastery, there will be a reenactment of the Crucifixion that you will not want to miss.
