Mike Olmos

Mike Olmos brings his trumpet to The Deluxe as one of the most in-demand jazz musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area, equally at home on local stages and national and international tours. A versatile sideman of the highest order, he performs regularly in the Bay with the Marcus Shelby Jazz Orchestra, Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers, Pete Escovedo, and Wil Blades, and has shared the stage with Rosemary Clooney, Michael Bublé, and the late, great Etta James — whose Grammy-nominated final album The Dreamer features his playing.
