The 2026 YoungArts® winner in Jazz Clarinet, he has appeared at venues and festivals including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, Lindy Focus, and the Healdsburg Jazz Festival. He has worked with artists including Marcus Shelby, Kyle Athayde, Jon-Erik Kellso, Rossano Sportiello, James Chirillo, Aaron Johnson, Jonathan Stout, Bobby Sanabria, Kurt Elling, Evan Christopher, and many others. Through performance, study, and recording, Nathan continues to refine his artistic voice while remaining rooted in the jazz tradition. Don't miss Nathan's final Bay Area performance of the summer before he heads back to New York City. The quartet will present a swing-oriented mainstream jazz repertoire drawn from the Great American Songbook, Duke Ellington, and classic small-group jazz traditions, with occasional influences from traditional jazz and world music.
