Mox Event Space (Mission 13th St) Event source calendar Event Link: see venue calendar above ^^ A social gathering for people to work on their passion projects together. Writing, video editing, coding, model building, whatever brings you joy. Come work and chat with everyone while learning about their interests and showcasing your own. I think being able to showcase special interests helps people feel more at home and see different sides of each other. It's also a great way to bring some color and depth to Mox beyond our professions. To go beyond just the room, I'd also be happy to do a photo wall of people and their interests, to keep a running public log of what people are working on, and interview people on video to get them talking about their projects (I've been a professional video interviewer for several orgs and would be glad to do it for this!). Unsure about number of people or space, it only got about 4 interactions in the Discord, so could be small at first, and I just ran with the default public, but glad to chat about that as well. I'm very much open to suggestions on logistics if this is an event that interests the staff, and also willing to pivot it if there is a way to make it more Mox-y. Thanks!
