Patrick Wolff

Patrick Wolff brings a lifetime of deep jazz immersion to The Deluxe, joined by a stellar quartet — Adam Shulman on piano, Eric Markowitz on bass, and Sylvia Cuenca on drums. A saxophone and clarinet player with a distinguished history in the jazz scenes of New York City and San Francisco, Wolff has performed or recorded with Matt Wilson, Albert “Tootie” Heath, Grant Stewart, and Dena DeRose, among many others. With six albums under his own name and a playing style rooted in lyricism and a genuine embrace of the full jazz lineage — from bebop and hard bop to the contemporary — this quartet brings together some of the Bay Area’s most accomplished voices for an evening that is as warm and inviting as The Deluxe itself.
