Peter Le Trio

Peter Le is an emerging East Bay tenor saxophonist who leads a jazz trio at Waystone, bringing a focused, modern voice shaped by straight-ahead playing and cross-cultural exploration. A recent UC Berkeley graduate now pursuing a master’s degree in data science, Le has studied with Glenn Richman, Maddie Liu of Oddity, Joe Escobar, Ted Moore, and Frank Martin, and has performed at the Freight & Salvage, the Marsh, and Bird & Beckett; outside the trio, he leads a video-game jazz combo and an East/Southeast Asian jazz-fusion collective.
