Rip Florence - @rip.florence
Oakland outsider songster making dystopian art-punk, damaged psych, and weirdo folk noise out of cheap gear; an earnest bust. Pulling from the edges of proto-punk, soliloquy storytelling, and bedroom demos, Rip’s songs stumble somewhere between Syd Barrett, Swell Maps, Glorious Din, and Jonathan Richman: playful, noisy; fucked up. Quasi-bound with scotch tape.
Michael Mouse - @evafromtoilet
Michael Mouse is Eva Hannan from bands like Rays & Beauty Contest. He goes by Michael now; he’s not on socials except random livestreams where he’s full Charlie Sheening; he resents his early life as a child actor; he’s kind of more into music, strange spirits, hookers & 8-balls; he doesn’t have a problem; he’s still not over her.
R.E. Seraphin - @r.e.seraphin
R.E. Seraphin’s songs live in shadows and ambiguity. The Bay Area musician builds raucous, large-scale rock songs, then hushes them to ghostliness around intimate, murmuring vocals that tickle the inside of your ear. Here are anthemic choruses, amp-jumping rock licks, and buzzing propulsion that echo through dream corridors, just out of reach.
