San Francisco Symphony - Doctor Atomic and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto

French violinist Renaud Capucon joins the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra for a stunning rendition of Felix Mendelssohn's Volin Concerto, conducted by Elim Chan. Sitting alongside it on the program is the symphony edition of John Adams' operatic examination of Nuclear Age fear, Doctor Atomic, featuring instrumental versions of some of the opera's standout musical moments.
