SF's Free 12th Annual Chinatown Night Out

Community Youth Center of San FranciscoThe 12th Annual Chinatown Night Out returns on Wednesday, September 9, from 4–7 pm at a new location: Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Playground Basketball Court at 830 Sacramento Street. This free, family-friendly community celebration brings Chinatown residents together with local SFPD officers, government agencies, and community organizations in an approachable setting. Visitors can explore more than 20 resource booths, learn practical strategies related to hate crimes, robberies, scams, cell phone theft, personal safety, and crime prevention, and connect with organizations serving the neighborhood. The event will also feature cultural performances, activities for children, free giveaways, a live raffle, and complimentary meals while supplies last. Established in 2014, Chinatown Night Out is presented through the collaborative leadership of the San Francisco Police Department, San Francisco Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, and Community Youth Center of San Francisco. The event is free and open to the public.
