“Shipyard Open Studios” Fall 2026: 130+ Artists, Free Admission & Parking Shipyard Trust for the Arts Shipyard Trust for the Arts and ArtSpan teamed up to bring you the fall edition of Shipyard Open Studios x S F Open Studio event. Over 130 artists, food, a Beer Garden, live music and more at the historic Hunters Point Shipyard and Islais Creek studios. Most people have never set foot inside Hunters Point Shipyard, a historic naval base that, for one weekend, becomes one of San Francisco’s biggest art events. Step inside the working studios of 130+ painters, sculptors, jewelers, ceramicists, photographers, and metalworkers. Talk directly with the artists, watch how the work gets made, and take home something original. A short drive away, the satellite studios at Islais Creek are home to many of the show’s sculptors, offering a chance to see large-scale work being made in the space where it happens.
