The Web SF (Lower Haight) Event Link Sapiens x The Web: 5K Photo Run & Hike Welcome to the first collaboration between Sapiens and The Web We’ll meet at Ocean Beach before splitting into run and hike groups for a creative journey through Golden Gate Park. Along the way, we’ll pause for photo prompts and activities designed to help us slow down, notice our surroundings, and capture our unique perspectives. Everyone will shoot on a point and shoot film camera. Your ticket includes the camera, film development, and a special discounted rate made possible by Swap Film. Afterward, we’ll reunite at Ocean Beach for a bonfire and an intimate live performance by Jolene. Event Details - Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 - Time: 6:00 PM–9:00 PM - Location: Ocean Beach, San Francisco - Bring: Comfortable shoes, warm layers, water, and your curiosity Schedule - 6:00 PM — Meet at Ocean Beach, check in, and welcome 🏃 Run Group - 5K loop through Golden Gate Park - Approximately one hour - A photo prompt or creative activity every kilometer 🥾 Hike Group (FULL) - Scenic hike through Golden Gate Park - Approximately one hour - Photo prompts and creative activities every 20 minutes - 7:30 PM — Groups reunite at Ocean Beach - 7:45 PM — Bonfire and live performance by Jolene - 9:00 PM — Wrap-up Donations will go towards snacks for the group Meet the Collaborators Sapiens A San Francisco community creating experiences centered on mindfulness, movement, creativity, and meaningful human connection.
