Songwriters Group Workshop

Decentered Featured Events (SOMA 8th St) Event Link For the August Songwriter group workshop, we’re featuring a collaborative, interactive discussion about lyric writing and process! We’ll look at storytelling and literary devices used in today’s popular music and write some lyrics of our own with guided prompts and thought starters. Katiee is a singer-songwriter based on SF. She has been writing forever and songwriting for the past year. Songwriting has become a tool for her to express vulnerability, understand insecurities, and share relatable experiences through art. Some of her favorite artists are Alanis Morrissette, Olivia Rodrigo, Megan Thee Stallion… too many more to name.
