Top Account Executives to Share Stories of how they lead technology adoption.
Five top-performing account executives sit at the front and walk through deals they actually closed — the ones that stalled, went dark, got underbid, or came back from dead. Real accounts, real objections, real language they used in the room. Not frameworks. Transcripts from memory.Every founder thinks their product loses on price. The AEs in this room know it usually loses somewhere else.
Twenty funded founders get to listen and ask.
The rules
The AEs are the guests of honor. Founders are the audience.
Every story has to be a specific deal — stage, objection, outcome. "Build rapport" is not a story.
At least one story in the night has to be a deal that was won ugly: discounted, dragged, or saved by someone else on the team.
No recruiting pitches at the AEs. You can ask for their advice. You cannot ask for their resume.
Chatham House Rule on account names. Everything else is fair game.
The format
Round the room. Sixty seconds each — name, what you do, one funny memory from the job. Host goes first.
Host-led stories. Five AEs, structured questions, no slides.
Open floor. Founders bring their actual stuck deal and get it diagnosed live.
Live demos. Five vetted founders demo AI and robotics products. The AEs critique how it would be sold — not how it's built. Positioning, discovery, who signs.
Who this is for
Founding AEs and experienced AEs who have closed something worth explaining, and want a room that treats that as expertise.
Founders with funding and revenue who are still doing sales themselves and want to hear how a professional actually does it.
Not for: recruiters, sales tool vendors, or anyone pre-product.
