Lester Temple is a trailblazing DJ whose work in the vibrant disco scene of San Francisco helped define an era and solidify the city's reputation as a haven for groundbreaking music and gay culture. His ability to seamlessly mix tracks and introduce new artists made him a key figure in the burgeoning disco movement. The pulsating rhythms and liberating beats of disco, championed by Temple, became anthems for the LGBTQ+ community, offering a space for expression, unity, and celebration. Steve Fabus's DJ career spans almost the entire history of the profession and art form itself. Residencies in SF, NYC and LA in clubs including the legendary Trocadero Transfer and now resident and co-founder of Go Bang. Steve Fabus, one of the first nationally recognized US DJs from the West Coast, began his career playing loft parties and undergrounds of late '70s San Francisco. Over the last 50 years, he has done guest spots in Chicago, NYC, LA, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami, Houston, Fire Island, Palm Springs and other U.S. cities and across the pond he's played in London at Horse Meat Disco and Dalston Superstore, in Berlin at Cocktail d'amore and in Glasgow at Sub Club. Ken Vulsion's first residency in 1983 was at an Italian resaurant / disco called Myhalyk's in Elmira NY. Wednesday was Bonehunter night, and he was paid with a pile of wrinkled dollar bills and free chicken wings. Since then he moved to San Francisco and has played at the most prestigious discotheques and parties across the globe. DJ Marcelino started his career in the 90s at Soma's famous My Place leather sex bar and has kept SF dancing for decades.
