The Shoe Jazz Jam at the Lucky Horseshoe

Bay Area Open Mics Event Link "The Shoe," has been known for live music since it opened as "The Cherokee" in 1943. The current ownership named it from "Skip's Tavern" in 2011 and it still boasts historical touches like a wall-sized old west mural (purportedly created in exchange for bar credit), and even a few seats rescued from the old Candlestick Park. Straight ahead jazz standards on second through fifth Wednesdays since March 2023. House band led by Kyle Finley on bass with drums and often guitar.
