Submitted by the Event OrganizerMargaret TimbrellOct 29 to Nov 8 viewable by appointment, opening reception Oct 29 5-7pm Join San Francisco textile artist Margaret Timbrell for the opening reception of Urban Tapestries, a solo exhibition at Pacific Felt Factory. The exhibition brings together textile works depicting the urban wildlife that live alongside us, mostly in California landscapes. Timbrell uses rug tufting, embroidery, quilting, applique, felting, and other handwork to build scenes that reward a closer look. The series considers how wildlife adapt to changing places and what their presence says about belonging and survival in the city. The opening reception is Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Pacific Felt Factory, 2830 20th Street, San Francisco. Enter at the 20th Street gate. Urban Tapestries continues through November 8 and is viewable by appointment after the reception. For more about the artist, visit www.margarettimbrell.com.
