Victor Little’s Big Hit at Mr. Tipples brings electric bass to the forefront of a groove-driven blend of funk, soul, and jazz fusion. A Chicago native and longtime Bay Area musician, Little has performed or recorded with Patti Austin, Billy Preston, Booker T. Jones, and Charlie Musselwhite, developing a versatile sound grounded in R&B and enriched by jazz improvisation. His Big Hit ensemble combines original compositions with interpretations of music by influences such as Miles Davis and Stevie Wonder, emphasizing deep grooves and expressive bass playing.
