Mox Event Space (Mission 13th St) Event source calendar Event Link: see venue calendar above ^^ *Use code GFI for $7 off admission. There may even be a chance to try a cultivated meat sample or two. ;) Curious about why/how alternative meat will save the planet? Let's talk about it. Join us for a book talk and then come hang out at the afterparty! Here's what's happening. Feel free to come to one or the other or both things! 5:30pm - Book talk at Commonwealth Club (110 The Embarcadero) 8:00pm - AFTERPARTY at Mox (1680 Mission St) Get your ticket to the book talk at: commonwealthclub.org/events/2026-08-19/future-meat-technology-sustainability-and-meats-tomorrow *Use code GFI for $7 off admission. There may even be a chance to try a cultivated meat sample or two. ;) Can't make the talk? No worries! We'll keep the festivities going. Come say hi to Bruce at the afterparty. GFI would be cohosting this with me. They'd like to get a quote on costs for either the first floor events space or the fourth floor space. We're anticipating anywhere from 50-100 people. We would provide snacks and drinks, potentially looking at doing a cultivated meat tasting as well. Host: Zak Weston, Sandra Takamine More info: partiful.com/e/gWsRnPxE7JImhRBm7CZK? location provided by event source: "Mox, 1680 Mission Street, San Francisco" ―――――――――― SF Stuff To Do
