The Commons: Third Space (Hayes Valley) Event Link 🌿 Description Beyond small talk, social scripts, and the pressure to be a certain way. An evening of movement, playfulness, authentic relating, and meaningful conversation in a trauma-informed space. ―――――――――― 🌿 About This Gathering Meaningful connection rarely happens by accident. It tends to emerge when we feel safe enough to slow down, be ourselves, and meet one another with curiosity. This gathering is an invitation to explore what helps genuine connection emerge—not by performing, saying the “right” thing, or following a script, but by creating the conditions where we can be more present, playful, and authentic with ourselves and others. Through movement, somatic awareness, playful exercises, and guided conversations, we’ll experiment with different ways of connecting while honoring everyone’s own pace. This is the first gathering in an evolving exploration of connection, community, and play. I’m excited to return to facilitating and to co-create this experience with the people who join. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling a little more connected to yourself, a little closer to the people around you, and maybe even with a new friend or two. ―――――――――― 🕰 Flow / Schedule 7:00 – 7:15: Arrival & settling in7:15 – 7:30: Welcome & agreements7:30 – 9:00: Connection exploration9:00 – 9:15: Closing circle9:15 – 10:00: Stay, mingle & continue connecting ―――――――――― 💫 Who This Is For This gathering is for anyone who longs for more genuine connection. It’s especially for people who sometimes struggle to connect, fit in, or feel like they truly belong; for those who appreciate a slower pace when getting to know others; and for anyone curious about moving beyond small talk, social performance, or the feeling that they need to say the “right” thing or show up in a certain way. Rather than trying to “get connection right,” we’ll explore what naturally allows connection to emerge—through presence, play, movement, and authentic conversation. Whether you're outgoing, introverted, or somewhere in between, you'll be invited to participate at your own pace. No previous experience is needed: just come as you are. ―――――――――― 👥 Facilitator Simone Giacometti is a somatic practitioner, psychedelic integration guide, and facilitator passionate about helping people heal, grow, and connect more deeply with themselves and others. Originally trained as a scientist, Simone spent years working at the intersection of biology, technology, and program management before transitioning into healing work. Today, he supports people through one-on-one sessions that weave together trauma-informed healing, somatic practices, inner exploration, and psychedelic integration work to help people reconnect with themselves and grow into greater authenticity. His group facilitation draws on somatics, authentic relating, nervous system awareness, and play to create spaces where people can slow down, be themselves, and feel more at home with others. (This gathering is fully substance-free and centered on movement, conversation, and connection.) ―――――――――― 🎒 What to Bring Comfortable clothes you can move inA water bottle (optional)Curiosity and a willingness to meet yourself and others as you are ―――――――――― 💛 Suggested Donation / Exchange This gathering is free.
